"Through My Eyes" is a three piece series of artwork drawn by Patrick Vale. Each piece captures unique player views of Wrigley Field. The inspiration for this series came to me after bringing fans onto the field and seeing the same reaction over and over. Your first personal encounter with Wrigley is awe inspiring; the stadium feels like it's alive. This is the same field where Ernie Banks and Billie Williams played, where Babe Ruth called his shot. Over 100 years of Cubs history emanates from every corner of the stadium. I wanted to bring this experience to life with a series that exposes fans to the players' exclusive viewpoint.
THE HAPP FAMILY CHARITABLE FUND:
In my first few years with the Chicago Cubs I’ve seen the incredible impact we, as an organization, can have on the community. It continues to amaze me that the Chicago Cubs community is not just our fans in Chicago, but the entire nation. We have fans all over the country and we see that at every road game. This project is for the fans and for the Chicago Cubs community. I wanted to give the fans a timeless piece of iconic artwork they can be proud of while rallying around the causes close to the hearts of this organization. That is why my family and I have started The Happ Family Charitable Fund. Net proceeds from every print sold will go directly to the Happ Family Charitable Fund to benefit mental health and wellness initiatives in Chicago and across the country. Together we can help further the charitable impact of the Happ Family Charitable Fund organization.
